Historically, the post event meetup and awards take place near the Epcot resorts on Crescent Lake at Seabreeze Point sometime around 9/9:30 depending on fireworks and whatnot. We tend to nail down the time closer to game day.

Basic is the equivalent to what we play at WDW. If that event is challenging and fun for you, that is what you should sign up for. It should be thought of as the regular version of the game.

Advanced is for teams that want an extra challenge. A few additional quests, less instruction, more competitive (and slightly more expensive) and NO HINTS AT ALL. I would say you do NOT want to level up unless you feel that Basic or the WDW games are too easy for your team and you tend to finish early. Advanced is no joke, it is hard and the teams that play it are VERY competitive.

Historically, the Disneyland events have frequently had two divisions. In the early years, they were Quests Only/Quests and Trivia. Later we added trivia to both and made Advanced as the more difficult division.

We have also occasionally done a “101” division which is an easier version of the game, more instruction, hints, partial credit.

    Does that help?

We don’t have it scheduled as of yet, but registration usually opens four to five weeks before the event, so sometime in early August would be my guess.

The change was just made, and may be cached. You can try to either clear your cache or try another browser.

The empty field will not prevent your purchase from going through. The field under the credit card info is the “Name on Credit Card” field and should now be showing the label properly. The Credit Card fields are not managed by us (Stripe is loading those) so we don’t have a lot of control over those.

    Is this a timed event

This IS a time based event. That being said, Third Gate Games staff will be available for help and hints for several days after the start of the event. We are working out the details. You can either choose to play competitively and go for best finish time, or play a few quests every day.

A question for the upcoming nighttime game at WDW Spring 2020. Will the no flashlight rule stand, being and older person who wears readers the nighttime could be especially hard for reading quests, etc.

The rule remains in effect. While the parks can be dark, there are PLENTY of places that are very well lit. Lack of light is part of the challenge of a night-time event and the quests are written with this in mind.

Hi again, Just found out my old email address has been compromised and I can no longer get correspondence from you. How do I change my email address with you. Also I was unable to get any info from you regarding my entry into race. We think all of our families /team emails were compromised.

Email mouseadventure :at: thirdgategames.com with your team information (team name and players) and what email address you would like things changed to, and we will make the change and send a copy of your registration.
